The Program is offered by seven top-notch Student Training Plan 2.0 Bases in basic disciplines of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Mechanics and Basic Medicine, as well as public health and nursing disciplines. The program offers courses, lectures, visits to the National Virtual Simulation Experimental Teaching Center, shared laboratory platform, and the specimen museum and labs of the Experimental Teaching Center, as well as cultural and sports activities, fostering academic collaboration and exchange between undergraduate students from Université Paris-Saclay and 2022 cohort of the Elite Undergraduate Program in College of Life Science and Technology.
2.Frontiers in Energy and Environmental Chemistry |

This program focuses on how to utilize OpenMP and MPI for programming and performance optimization in both shared-memory and distributed-memory parallel computing systems. Through a series of hands-on parallel programming experiments, participants will expand their knowledge of basic parallel programming methods and deepen their understanding of the concepts of parallel computing and optimization.

8.Decoding the Brain: From Neurons to Circuits and Beyond |

This program focuses on the mechanisms of neural information processing, exploring how the nervous system perceives and integrates environmental and internal signals to maintain physiological balance. Topics include signal transmission and processing in neural networks, the structural and functional principles of neural circuits, and how these insights have inspired the development of artificial intelligence. The course also examines neural network dysfunctions and their link to various neuropsychiatric disorders.
II. Engineering Bootcamp |
The program covers Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Architecture and works in collaboration with the Wuhan National High Magnetic Field Center and the National Center of Technology Innovation for Digital Construction. The European Historic Architecture and City Design Workshop focuses on the built environment of Barcelona. 3.Analysis and Correction of the Impact of Temporal Variability of Pulsed Magnetic Fields on Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Measurements |

Conducting NMR experiments in high magnetic fields has become an increasingly prominent research trend. However, the time-varying characteristics of pulsed magnetic fields can induce significant frequency fluctuations in NMR signals, resulting in spectral distortion. This program covers the fundamentals of NMR, numerical analysis methods, and signal processing algorithms, guiding participants in the in-depth study and development of signal correction techniques.
4.New Materials Interdisciplinary Frontiers |

The New Materials Interdisciplinary Frontier Summer School offers specialized lectures and seminar courses covering fields such as photoelectric materials, energy materials, metallic materials, and smart materials. 5.HUST-UNSW Summer School: AI Empowers Software & Design |

Jointly organized by School of Software Engineering at HUST and Arts, Design & Architecture at UNSW, this program leverages their research strengths in artificial intelligence, software engineering, and computational design. Rooted in Wuhan, the program offers lectures on green economy, green finance, e-commerce, and a seminar on "Green Economy and International Cooperation". It also includes on-site research activities in local areas and cultural experiences, deepening international participants understanding of China's low-carbon economic practices.
2.AI Robot |

Focusing on the field of AI-empowered robots, this program consists of a series of academic lectures, practical innovation training, visits to enterprises/experimental platforms, as well as Chinese cultural courses and tours. It offers participants from around the world a comprehensive view of the rapid technological development in the AI-empowered robots, while providing deep insights into the richness and unique charm of Chinese culture.
3.Metaverse |

The project aims to show overseas students research and application development in the field of metaverse. Participants will engage in metaverse courses and lectures, conduct hands-on experiments in laboratories, and visit leading Wuhan-based information and communication companies to experience the charm of metaverse technology.
4.Embrace the Wisdom of Chinese Governance |
Duration: June 30, 2025 - July 13, 2025
Under the guidance of mentors, program participants will engage in research group activities, mastering scientific methods and techniques through hands-on practice and experiential learning. They also will conduct field research at grassroots organizations and communities to directly observe and understand local economic development levels, social livelihoods, and infrastructure construction.
5.Union Medical Exploration |
Duration: July 1, 2025 - August 31, 2025
This program covers a wide range of key topics, including clinical frontiers and technological innovations, digital health and telemedicine, precision medicine and personalized treatment, mechanisms of clinical diseases, clinical research approaches and methodologies, clinical trial design and implementation, international medical cooperation and exchange, and global public health emergency response management. Through these courses, participants will systematically learn clinical research methodologies, master cutting-edge medical technologies, expand their global perspectives, and enhance their academic innovation capabilities and international competence.
6.Global Clean and Renewable Energy |
Duration: July 13, 2025 - July 26, 2025
The program includes a series of lectures on the current status and development of clean and renewable energy in China, visits to leading new energy companies, cultural experiences such as Hubei cuisine, Chinese language, kung fu, Chinese opera, and tea ceremony, as well as field studies. Jointly attended by international and Chinese students, the program aims to promote cultural exchange between Chinese and international participants.
7.Design and Manufacture of Bio-Inspired Intelligent Sensors |

Positioned at the forefront of integrated circuit and artificial intelligence convergence, the program focuses on bio-inspired intelligent sensors including machine olfaction and machine vision. The program covers courses on the overall design, automation, control systems, and artificial intelligence related to intelligent marine equipment such as marine robots, as well as fundamental theories and key technologies applied to complex systems like offshore wind turbines, marine robotics, and mechatronics. This program aims to provide participants with essential guidance and insights from the perspectives of theoretical advancement, research challenges, and academic rigor.
9.Traditional Chinese Medicine |
Duration: August 17, 2025-August 30, 2025
This program innovates international student education through diverse formats including expert lectures, corporate visits, lab practicums, field studies, Mandarin courses, and cultural immersion activities. It comprehensively showcases traditional Chinese medicine's cultural heritage and modern development, while promoting the distinctive "Traditional Chinese Medicine" cultural brand globally.
IV. The Chinese Culture Experience Camp |
The program is rooted in humanities and economics, and blends special lectures and interactive cultural experiences which enables students to appreciate the beauty of Chinese culture and fosters reciprocal exchange between the Chinese culture and world civilization.
1.Discovering and Understanding China – Hubei-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Summer Camp |
Duration: May 15, 2025 - May 25, 2025
The program encompasses a series of thematic sessions focusing on key areas such as artificial intelligence, green finance, and e-commerce. By employing a diverse range of formats, including field research, case-based seminars, interactive activities, presentations, and experiential learning, it is designed to promote cultural integration between Hubei and Hong Kong, while fostering participants’ innovative thinking and practical competencies. Through collaborative exchanges with participants from higher education institutions in Hong Kong, the initiative aims to strengthen participants’ sense of national identity and cultural confidence, while enhancing their understanding of contemporary societal trends and national development imperatives.
2.Chinese Culture Summer Camp |
Duration: June 29, 2025 - July 12, 2025
The program features courses on Chinese characters and dialects, Chinese philosophy, ancient Chinese literature, classic Chinese novels and operas, Chinese etiquette, Jingchu culture, and digital economy. It offers cultural immersion activities such as dragon boat racing, martial arts, calligraphy, tea ceremony, as well as field studies. There is also the International Youth Development Forum to promote cultural exchange among Chinese and international participants.
